About Bonnie
I am deeply passionate about making sure people feel seen, known, valued, and a little less alone as we navigate their healing journey together.
I am warm and empathetic as well as knowledgeable and experienced in the therapeutic process. I am nonjudgemental and aim to cultivate a space where my client’s feel safe and supported as they share their innermost process. My approach is interactive and collaborative in nature and aims at empowering my clients to grow and heal in ways unique to them.
In my work as a therapist, I have seen clients grow confidence in and compassion for themselves. I have witnessed clients find healing in their relationships with others and with how they approach challenges.
Experience
I have worked in high schools and middle schools providing therapeutic services to teens with a variety of challenges and needs. I spent several years working at Vanguard University’s counseling center where I worked with college students as they navigated one of life’s first major transitions. I also have several years of experience working in the summer camp setting where I held roles working directly with children and staff and their personal development.
I have been in the private practice setting for the last year where I have expanded my work to all ages and groups. My experience has taught me that we are forming our identity and navigating similar challenges in relationships at any age. Because of my training, I believe I can provide thoughtful and effective care for those dealing with depression, life transitions, anxiety, emotional regulation, difficult relationships, and complex trauma. I would be honored to come alongside you on your journey toward healing.
